Even though Nike isn’t really known for wearable technology products, this time it made everyone’s jaws drop. If most companies opt for manufacturing huge, watch-like fitness trackers, Nike just went the opposite way.
And of course, you could be the beneficiary of all the perks offered by the Nike+ Fuelband, a product as all-encompassing as it is awesome-looking. Let me show you why this is possibly the greatest buy you could ever make.
This Nike fitness tracker is probably among the ones that aim towards a minimalistic, yet fully tasteful design. It fits perfectly on your wrist and provides readings for full-body movement.
It also measures burned calories and steps. The fun thing about this particular tracker is that you can actually accumulate points if you meet your target. Those are called “NikeFuel.”
The band is charged through a USB. As you might expect, you can connect it to your laptop and your phone through Bluetooth, in order to get even more accurate readings. You can set your own personal goals for each day, too!
What’s more, you can create a group with your friends and start a competition from your phone. And did I mention the tracker looks excellent?
The advantages of this tracker are: you can set unique goals for each day of workout, it’s got good connectivity and the efficient NikeFuel that gives you the adrenaline rush you need to make more progress.
The ladies will find the design well-thought, because the band is light and quite narrow, which makes it a great accessory to a casual outfit.
There’s a huge con to this product, unfortunately: it doesn’t really do much… I mean, you just keep it on your wrist and gather points, but that’s about it. It doesn’t have all the features of a good tracker, subsequently.
It looks good, sure, and it measures full-body movement, but that’s all it does. And the price, too, doesn’t make it too affordable, as it comes in the range of $400.
My recommendation for you is to consider purchasing this tracker from Amazon. You might get some good deals that could chop a chunk out of the original price.
If not, at least you get free shipping, which is no small thing, since it could cost you a fortune elsewhere, depending on how far away you live. In this case, it wouldn’t be worth it, really.
My verdict is… well, if you want a tracker that does what this one does, then yes, I do recommend it. However, if you want a multifunctional one that tracks heart rate, sleep, distance and many others, this is definitely not the suitable product for you.
For this price, you could buy a much more functional tracker. But of course, the final decision is yours. If you think you can do with it, then, by all means, get it. It’s a good tracker, but not really my thing.
